The County Development Strategy of Varazdin County is the successor to the Regional Operative Program; thereby, it has become a key development document for the planning and guidance of the regional development of Varazdin County. The County Development Strategy entered into force on December  15, 2010 under the County Assembly decision, according to the Law on regional development (NN 153/09).
