Giving information

The Office in Brussels collects all relevant information about the events and programs of the EU, which are then forwarded to the Croatian cities and counties that are members of the Office. We publish our own monthly e-newsletter which highlights European policies and transmits news from the EU that have an impact on Croatian cities and counties and the Republic of Croatia in general. Also, we respond to a series of enquiries on topics of interest to members of the Office.

Knowledge development

Good knowledge of European issues is of great importance for local and regional development. Therefore, we organize professional tailored training for public servants and employees in public institutions, and assist city and county delegations in the organization of meetings in Brussels.

Project experience

We are committed to increasing the awareness and capabilities of Croatian cities and counties in the utilization of the funds intended for European projects. To help our members increase the utilization of these resources, we provide them with timely information on open calls and upcoming deadlines for proposals, and new programs that are at the disposal of the Republic of Croatia, as well as help in the search for partners and more.

Networking

Croatian Regions Office in Brussels is a meeting place for the articulation of views and /or the interests of our members towards the European institutions.

We promote good relations with the Mission of Croatia to the EU as well as other missions and the Embassy in Belgium. We develop cooperation with other regional offices and links with international project partners. Also, we encourage our members to get involved and to better exploit the benefits of being a member in the European networks and associations.
