AZRA´s Activities 

Azra has, together with project partners, prepared the tender documentation. After the approval of the project, Azra as a project partner has participated in the implementation of all project activities. A representative of AZRA has participated in all activities. Up to now, we have held coordination meetings of the project team, during which they were in assigned responsibilities for the planning and implementation of individual project activities.

Objectives

The main objective of the project is to strengthen capacities in partner countries through the construction of new and innovative financial instruments and the exchange of knowledge in order to stimulate innovation in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

 

Expected results

  • Identified needs and deficiencies in all partner countries regarding their capacity to effectively provide support and information to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises
  • Developed cross-border patent fund
  • Provided support to IFA partners and relevant authorities in the establishment of new agencies for innovation and finance
  • Education, exchange of support schemes and experiences

 

Project activities

  • Preparation and implementation of promotional activities
  • Organization and conduct of meetings of local support groups
  • Organizing and conducting meetings for the exchange of knowledge and experience
  • Development of methodology for conducting analysis
  • Analysis of current situation and examples of good practice
  • Development of a Fund proposal for funding of innovation in South-Eastern Europe
  • Selection of pilot regions for the establishment of the fund to finance innovation in South-Eastern Europe
  • Organization and conducting education among representatives of project partners in the relevant fields of expertise
  • Organization and conduct of the study tour

 

Project duration: 34 months, March 2009 - do December 2011

 

Total value of the project: 2.700.000,00 €
